How to Choose a Wellness Coach

Select a Coach who has Formal Training with Mentoring/Teaching and Active Listening Skills

Aiki Healing's Kay Hutchinson is a triple certified educator who also completed a one year training program with psychologist, Dale Rudin, that emphasized a family-focused support model.

In addition, Kay trained formally at the California Institute of Integral Studies in a graduate level transpersonal psychology emphasizing the role of spirit in human development. Her work focused on integrating qi gong as an emotional processing tool to meet life challenges.

Last, Kay's formal training with Chinese medicine emphasized addressing psycho-spiritual issues root causes in the manifestation of illness.

As a result of this diverse background, Aiki Healing clients receive highly individualized mentoring experiences that enable them to develop life-skills to transform not only health but their lives.

Select a Coach who is Willing to Challenge You to Push Past Obstacles Safely

An effective coach is straightforward in challenging you to examine issues that may be preventing you from achieving your wellness goals. Effective coaches highlight your strengths while also empowering you with tools to examine areas where you need to stretch and grow, and challenge you to do just that.
